The Aim

Improving a company's photography style is integral to enhancing its brand identity and connection with its audience. This process begins with a clear understanding of the brand's values, message, and target demographic, ensuring that the visual content aligns seamlessly with these elements.

It was important to experiment with different photography techniques, such as lighting, angles, and composition, as they can significantly impact the visual appeal and uniqueness of the content.

The end results were so much cleaner and brighter.

For the customer, it was important to feel that connection and relatability to the products, so we introduced a larger range of lifestyle photographs to help to show the products in the relevant environments.

Even standard brochure and catalogue photography was refreshed and updated. Adding in a new style of abstract, top-down photography allowed us to get creative with concepts and compositions.

“Adding in props and additional elements to our shoots meant that I could individually sketch and plan each shot prior to the shoot.”

Due to the company’s expansive product list, it was integral that styles were built to accommodate a variety of items, covering a wide demographic. This meant refining compositions, improving lighting, and post-processing techniques to capture visually compelling and professional images that effectively showcase the brand and its products. I worked alongside a handful of amazing freelance photographers to achieve the desired results. For some of the licensed products; Volkswagen, Minecraft, etc, we were able to complete external location shoots.

It was important to show products in situ, and being used as they would be in the customers hands.
